I have been attempting to use the FBM routines that were posted to the binaries group, and I have been making little progress. I have a "normal" 8 color 640x200 IFF file. I convert it to FBM format grayscale with the 'clr2gray' command. Now, how do I convert it back to IFF? fbcat says that IFF cant handle >32 colors, and it appears to be correct, in that superview refuses to display it. The command suggests that I do the following: "gray2clr -u | fbquant -c32". This produces a nice white picture (after adding a -I parm to fbquant). I also tried rotating the IFF file, with an IFF output file, using the 'fbrot' command. The output IFF file was just a mash of colors (at least it was the correct size!). What am I doing wrong? The other commands look very promissing, but as long as I can't get a usuable IFF output file, I can't use them. Thanks in advance!!! -- "This ain't Rock 'N Roll, | These be my words, not my employer's! this is Genocide!" |Dave Lowrey - Amdahl Corp. - Houston, TX David Bowie - |In Texas: {moray,uhnix1}!starsoft!david "Daimond Dogs" |The World: dwl10@uts.amdahl.com (amdahl!dwl10)
