I am trying to interface an omti 3527 st506 to scsi converter to the
CLt'd kronos hard drive controller. When I run the low level format
program my hard drive goes click click click but then the format program
quits giving me an error message of illegel select number. The format command
quits after pressing return without any visible indication that it went to the
hard drive. When I run the inquir command it does not print anything. I
was in the understanding that the omti would register on the scsi bus with
some kind of address or something. Any help would be greatly appreciated in
either imformation about the omti or the kronos.
My set up is as follows 1 segate 277R-1 to the omti 3527 with NO jumpers
installed on any jumper blocks. the hard drive has a jumper for drive select 1
to the kronos.
