I finally got around to trying out the 'resi' (resident clone) command
from WShell v1.1 (?). The following programs have subtle or unsubtle
problems when used as 'resi'dent:
echo
emacs (CBM's)
if
more (CBM's.)
I hope that this saves someone some time. Note, I haven't tried the new 1.2
version of WShell yet. However, I wouldn't expect that to make any
difference since most problems with trying to make programs resident
are in the programs themselves.
(For those who don't know, WShell is Bill Hawes' shell program. It is
great! It is well worth the price.)
