I remember a couple other people having the same problem I am, but searching through earlier postings has revealed no solution, so here goes again. I am using MSH: on my external floppy, using the example from the supplied Mountlist. If I insert an MS-DOS (well, OK, so it's an OS/2) floppy, I can do a DIR, ls, or whatever. If I insert an unformatted floppy, the disk just spins if I try to do anything with it (including run messyfmt). If I remove the disk, I get a requester saying that I must reinsert it. Hitting Cancel a couple of times will lock up the machine. (No Guru, just everything locks up.) I am using the ARP Mount command, and, as I said, it works OK on formatted floppies. If you have licked this problem already, I would appreciate any help you can give me on it. Thanks... -Chris ----- Chris Lang University of Michigan, College of Engineering home: 4622 Bursley work: National Center for Manufacturing Sciences Ann Arbor, MI 48109 900 Victors Way, Suite 226 (313) 763-1832 Ann Arbor, MI 48108 chrisl@caen.engin.umich.edu (313) 995-0300 "I hate quotations.
