A Hedley monitor (if you're not familiar with the term, it's a monitor which provides something like 1008x800 x 4 colors by integrating several normal screens in a clever way) would be just the thing for my desktop publishing fun. Any estimates as to when these things are going to hit the market, and whether they'll hit it at under $600 as originally planned? I assume there must be some developers out there who have 'em - any of you tired of your Hedley monitor and want to sell it? And as a last, or possibly first, resort, has anyone thought about the possibility of hacking together the interface hardware necessary to turn a low-cost multisync monochrome monitor into a hedley monitor? Of course, one would need the software drivers too, and I assume that Commodore doesn't give those away to just anyone. (But AMAX apparently is Hedley compatible- why?) - ranjit "Trespassers w" ranjit@eniac.seas.upenn.edu mailrus!eecae!netnews!eniac!... Forward in all directions!
