An interesting new computer net is getting under way. Rooted here in Atlanta, it's called SITENET. It's a database of industrial real estate and projects from all over the world. Landholders pay $350 per quarter per 10K bytes to list their sites on the net. After that, anyone can call in for free and querry the database about geographic area, tax incentives, site prep, number of new plants and corporate HQs in the area, and development organizations. Also available is an index of development articles, reports, papers and studies. The net already has nodes in most states. Free access to all . . . fascinating. Computer networks are beginning to find their markets. brent (gatech!msdc!itm!brent)
