I'm looking for a bit of advice concerning Amigas. I would like to
purchase an Amiga, and I have the opportunity to pick-up a used Amiga
1000. My other alternative is to spend a little more money and get a
500 (either new or used). I do quite a bit of word processing, so the
"feel" of the computer keyboard is very important. I have tried typing
on a 1000, and its keyboard feel great! My questions are:
1) Does the 500's keyboard have the same feel as the 1000's?
2) What (if any) are the graphics and memory expansion
limitations of the 1000 (as compared to the 500)?
3) What are the differences in the Commodore RGB monitors?
Which of these monitors gives the clearest screen resolution?
4) Are there any software packages that will run on a 500 and not
a 1000? If so, why won't it run on the 1000?
