I'm a proud owner of A-Max. So far I am so incredibly impressed, I would have to say it is far and away the most useful utility I have purchased for my 2000. Now, I pretty well understand the problems of Mac system architecture and why the Mac's contiguoys memory management prevents it from acting well with Amiga's more advanced memory usage methods. This is why A-Max does not multitask I am told. HOWEVER. What if A-Max allocated a full continuous Meg of memory off for itself? If it were able to do that, why would it not be then able to multitask? You could add some kind of disk drive allocation controls so that only the drives you desired would be turned into A-Max drives for that session, allowing others to be used on the Amiga side. Could someone explain why this setup can't work? I do love A-Max, but I've become addicted to multitasking. At work I even occasionally catch myself trying to pull down the screen on the Mac!!!
