Overall, I found it useful, but quite a few things bugged me about it. First, the articles were always continued on some page later (or earlier!) in the magazine. Sometimes more than one jump occurred in an article. Also, sometimes sections of articles were simply deleted in mid-word. And the worst problem: In the article about painting in halfbright mode, only three out of the approximately seven referenced photos were actually included. I got really confused when a point was made, and I was referred to photo #5 for clarification, when the photo didn't actually exist. The included disks contained some nice PD programs, along with sample pictures and a demo of DeluxeVideo III (which was the reason I bought the magazine). At least the review convinced me to buy the product, since they managed to touch on all the points I was wondering about. > Jeff Schweiger > > -- > ******************************************************************************* > Jeff Schweiger CompuServe: 74236,1645 Standard Disclaimer > ARPAnet (Defense Data Network): schweige@cs.nps.navy.mil > ******************************************************************************* -David Jedlinsky Digital Equipment Corporation | Disclaimer?
