Today at the PAX (Professional Amiga Exchange) meeting I was able to talk directly to Mike Berro and David Joiner about the situation at MicroIllusions. This is what I found out directly from them. Unlike reported in a variety of places, MicroIllusions is still in business and is a viable company. Though Mike is no longer an employee of MicroIllusions, his products are still carried by the company. The same is true for David Joiner's Music-X. He is getting his checks from MicroIllusions, though a little more slowly than usual. MicroIllusions is also still carrying Photon Paint, though the guy that wrote it is indeed on the staff at OXXI (working on something else). It is also clear that there has been a concerted effort by "some" people, formerly associated with MicroIllusions, to discredit the company and make it look as if MicroIllusions was indeed going down the tube, to force such an occurrence. Mike Berro clearly reported as false most of what was reported in an article about the apparent "MicroIllusions demise" that appeared in Amazing Computing. -- Marco -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= "Xerox sues somebody for copying?" -- David Letterman -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
