[comp.sys.amiga] Free Janus Development Software

alexhagn@neabbs.UUCP (ALEXANDER HAGEN) (03/20/90)

Since Commodore introduced the JANUS 2.0 Software, their
service to end-users has increased (although they probably
do not know). On the installation disks are some files
that were originally deleted, but still can be recovered
without any problems.

On the 3.50" AMIGA-disk the files listed below can be
recovered. They are part of the user manual you receive
with your bridgeboard.

                                   AMouse.DOC
  AMouse.DOC.info ARead.DOC
  ARead.DOC.info ASetTime.DOC
  ASetTime.DOC.info ATime.DOC
  ATime.DOC.info AutoBoot.DOC
  AutoBoot.DOC.info Awrite.DOC
  Awrite.DOC.info MakeAB.DOC
  MakeAB.DOC.info PCHard.DOC
  PCHard.DOC.info TimeServ.DOC
  TimeServ.DOC.info

On the 5.25" MS-DOS disks there are also some files that
were deleted; especially on disk 3 (Utility Disk). With
a program like PCTOOLS they can be recovered.

   A:\
    | example.exe
    +-JANUS
    | example.exe party.exe
    +-LIB
    | ?janus.lib
    +-INCLUDE-+-JANUS
              | harddisk.h harddisk.inc
              | janus.h janus.inc
              | janusvar.h janusvar.inc
              | jftrans.h memory.h
              | memory.inc memrw.h
              | memrw.inc pcdisk.h
              | pcdisk.inc services.h
              | services.inc servmac.inc
              | syscall.h syscall.inc
              | timeserv.h timeserv.inc
              | types.h
              +-EXEC
                      types.h

I doubt it if these files are very useful to you - they look
to me as some developers information - but who knows.

P.S. All these files were located on my A2088XT installation
disks. The 3.50" disk is dated 29.11.1988. The 5.25"
disks (English Version) are dated 01.12.1988.
