I just got my fatter agnus in the mail with directions on how to install it. I went through the steps 1) remove old agnus, 2) move jumper to pins 2 and 3 on J101, 3) cut connection between pads in J500, 4) installed fatter agnus alligned appropriately. When I powered up my syquest ran (contains 1.3) for a few brief seconds and then stopped, not enough time to do much of anything. The screen was black and that was all. I tried to do a warm reboot, but nothing happened. After about 15 - 30 seconds my screen went white and after another 30 seconds it went purple and continued to change colors sparatically every once and a while. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong? In case it matters I've got a GVP controller running my syquest drive, 2 megs of fast ram, and a hurricane 030 board with 2 megs of 32 bit RAM. I also added two more megs of 32 bit RAM just before intalling agnus. Could any of this cause such a problem? Any help would be appreciated. Thanx in advance. Mike Blechner.
