I was thinking of picking up Cinemaware's TV Sports Basketball but
haven't heard anything about it. I enjoy playing TV Sports Football
so if anyone could post or E-mail me a response, I'd appreciate it.

I picked up TV Sports Basketball about 2 weeks ago and I would say that if you
like TV Sports Football and you're a basketball fan, you'll really like the
Basketball game. Cinemaware has learned a few things from their past mistakes
and made a few enhancements to the basketball that are much welcome... You no
longer have to use the three fingered salute to start a new game or get out of
a subset (like practice on football) and the color situation with your players
is much better (you can actually tell who you have control over!). We've been
playing 2 on 2 teammates games against the computer a lot and the best we have
been able to do is about an 8 point loss to the computer. They have the option
to add a joystick adapter to your parallel port and play up to 4 players which
I am itching to try (2 on 2 with human opponents sounds like a blast)! I am
still a little wary about the computer player, it seems to cheat (sounds like
whining! heh heh heh!... the computer players NEVER miss a free throw and hit
outside shots you would never believe!) but all in all playing it as teammates
with a friend against the computer gets pretty intense and we have put quite
a few miles on it in the past couple of weeks (well, at least as much as we
can while still going to work and doing other things that people have to do
to keep things like girlfriends speaking to us... heh heh heh)

DISCLAIMER: I don't work for Cinemaware, I just play their games when I'm not
up to my ears in other things.
