I am interested in getting one of HP's new laser printers that sell for around $1000, or a Laser Jet series II maybe... What I need to know is how much memory I need in the printer to be able to use it sucessfully? Is 512K enough, or do I need 1 meg, 2 meg or more? If you have a HP printer of either type I would appreciate hearing what you think about it in regards to output quality, processing speed and reliability. Any pointers, disertations or help will be greatly appreciated. If you want "full page graphics" at 300dpi you need at least 1Meg. For text only, 1/2 page 300 dpi graphics or full page 150 dpi graphics you need only 512K. If you are downloading fonts, then more memory will be needed. -- Marco -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= "Xerox sues somebody for copying?" -- David Letterman -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
