Hello Netland! Anyone ever heard of a PD CAD-like program for the construction of PC-boards? If you have any hints as where to find such a gem, please email me. Thanks in advance - Tobbe, tobbe@me.chalmers.se (Gothenburg, front page of Sweden)

Tobbe's posting started me wondering, what kind of PCB layout programs are available on the Amiga? I am currently in the process of assemblying various pieces parts (assemblers, eprom programmer etc.) for some projects using micro-processors. If possible once I get the project designed and tested on a bread board I want to layout a circuit board for it. I have done this in the past using a kit from Radio Shack, drawing the traces on by hand and using stickers to protect the copper from the acid (or whatever the solution was that etched the copper away). If there was some way to use a PCB program to make a template of some kind my boards would look much better and would probably be much smaller. So could I get some suggestions on commercially available programs that might do the job? I don't have a fancy plotter just a simple dot matrix printer and a daisy wheel printer so I need something that can output a plot to something other than a plotter. Thanks! -- _ /// /_\ Scot L.
