I have a friend who cannot make his Multisync monitor work reliably with his A1000. If he connects it directly, the image is too dark to see. He hypothesizes that the monitor is looking at the video level on the "back porch" of horizontal sync and then adjusts its DC level accordingly. I personally think that's balderdash and the monitor is screwed up, but since I don't know anything about Amigas, I wonder if someone out there has a Nec Multisync I working successfully with an A1000, and if so, whether resistors, CMOS 4053's, or other exotic technology was necessary. -- Rick Rodman uunet!virtech!rickr (703)734-7261(w) (703)330-9849(h) Cable & Wireless, Tysons Corner VA
