Commodore has announced a special Education Purchase Plan for members of Educom.
EDUCOM members have been instructed to request and utilize a special EDUCOM
order form available through the Commodore Education Marketing department:
Commodore Business Machines, 1200 Wilson Drive, West Chester, PA 19380. Educom
members utilizing this special order form and complying with the additional
details of the special offer will recieve a free Commodore 1680 modem ($149
retail value) with any Amiga 2000, 2000HD or 2500 CPU purchased under the
Commodore Education Purchase Program.
The Commodore 1680 modem features: 1200 baud data communications, popular "AT"
Hayes (TM) command protocol, built-in speaker, auto dial (touchtone and rotary
dialing), auto answer/ originate selection, auto speed and mode selection, and
AmigaTerm and ProComm terminal software. Works with Commodore Amiga and
MS-DOS(R) compatible computers like the Commodore PC series.
This special EDUCOM 1680 modem offer expires October 31, 1990. Due to changes in
models and suppliers, product features and specifications are subject to change
without notice. The offer is subject to product availability and is void where
