[net.general] BCD package/info wanted

	Help!
	Does anyone in netland have any info on either a BCD package,
	or a description of algorithms for BCD (preferably in C/Pascal/
	structured language description)?

	All I really need are the four basic functions (add, subtract,
	multiply, divide) and ascii to floating point and floating
	point to ascii translation routines.

	Right now, I have a package in assembler, that implements
	a format of one byte for the Sign, one byte for the Exponent
	and six bytes for the Mantissa.
	I'm not picky though, I'll get what I can!
	Please; references, public domain packages or whatever would
	be appreciated.
