Greetings everyone in NetLand... I have a small problem. I'm looking for a PD C Compiler, and being a college student, I must confess to finding myself lacking the funds to purchase Lattice C. So, I was just wondering what my public domain alternatives are, and if anyone has used any of these PD compilers to produce useable programs. Also, if you have, could you please tell me their limitations/side effects/incompatibilities, and what version is the latest? I've heard that ZC is pretty good, and read a message that someone was porting GCC. What about YACC? Lastly, I just want to ask where I can get whatever program is recommended, preferably by mail, since us undergraduates here at BU have no Internet (and thus no FTP) access. Thanks for any information.
