Just got my new (to me :-) A2000. Yea! Here're some not so frequently asked questions: 1. What's the best mail-order house for hardware? (Houstonites should suggest good local stores, the only one I knew about closed. :-) 2. SLIP for the Amiga? 3. GNU for the Amiga? I can help on this one, I believe. I'm most interested in bison/gcc/g++, but other goodies would be nice as well. 4. A good tutorial for video/graphics? Now, the really tough ones. Opinion time. I want to be able to digitize from video and genlock out. I don't need network-quality, but I'd like to have graduate-art-student quality. I'd like (20+ bits | framestep out) depending on the cost. Any suggestions? I'd like to spend $500-$1000, and am overwhelmed by the amount of products already out there. I'd forgotten how much fun a computer could be... :-) -- J.
