I was thinking about A-Max and how it uses Amiga drives as A-M drives. If
one were to buy an Apple drive for use with A-M, would A-M still recognize
the Amiga drives as A-M drives and also the Max drive as such? In effect,
one would have more than 1 drive (x A-M, 1 Mac) if this is not the case,
one would end up with 1 drive (the Mac only). I have 2 drives for my Ami,
one internal, one external. If I got A-Max AND a Max drive, would I have
3 drives or 1?
This is probably a stupid question, but who knows with Apple stuff!
I was wondering another thing. Is there a way to re-write the disk
device so as to convert an amiga drive to mac? Is this illegal, or not tried?
I don't know if the "disk device" is what I mean to re-write, but I couldn't
think of anything else that would convey what I mean.
Is there anyone who is willing to try? I'm sure Apple would have a problem
with this, but it would be interesting to do it.
E-mail responses, or post if you think others are wondering too.
Thanks in advance,
Andy Hartman
