I've noticed a lot of comment lately that the Amiga is just viewed as a home computer. Well, DECUS seems to give the Amiga equal attention as the PC and Mac (there is Amiga software on DECUS tapes, a survey I received concerning which software is popular by DECUS members included questions about the Amiga). So, it appears that Amiga's are used by a lot of people who also use VAXes. (DECUS = Digital Equipment Corporation Users Group). I agree totally. I've been running a business on my Amiga for 3 years. It includes desktop video for promotional tapes, desktop publishing for mailings / promo packets and all the basic accounting and word processing a business needs. The bottom line: I could not run my business on any other machine without spending a LOT more money (if at all). I'm really burning out on the lack of positive thinking on usenet. It seems like a huge percentage of the topics are about how our machine and C= suck. If we don't have pride in our machine, no one else will. I DO! It does what I need for work and play -Ben Disclaimer: I work for myself, so there. These opinions are no one elses.
