I have approximately 18 disks FULL of MAC fonts (about 12M of fonts total) and I would like to have them converted to Amiga fonts. I would like to convert them in the shortest, easiest method possible. Are there any fast and reliable public domain/shareware font converters available? I have tried a program called MacConvert, but it crashes on some new font formats. I would, preferably, like to have something that handles color fonts as well, but this is optional.

I wrote a BDF to Amiga font converter, but it needs to be cleaned up a bit before sending it to comp.sources.amiga. There are programs to convert Mac fonts to BDF, so with these two programs you should be able to do the conversion. There are a bunch of Mac fonts in the contributed X stuff (in BDF form I think), so that's yet another source of fonts. If anyone else has any interest in seeing this program, send email as it will encourage me to get this thing out faster. -Jonathan
