I must say, my kill file has been getting quite a bit of work lately. Unfortunately, too much has been read before I killed it. I'm getting a little worrisome about the Amiga. First off, I don't really care what the new Macs or OS/2s or Sparcs or anything are doing. What we should be trying to do is sit down and think of how to improve the Amiga! Otherwise we're all just playing the catch-up game that somebody abhorred a few hundred messages back. And my computer, the Amiga, is being pounded on left and right by people who actually own it! Commodore, are you listening to this? If your most loyal users are beginning to get antsy, something's got to be done. I'm sure you've at least learned that over the past years - all of them, that is. Something very wrong is going on here. I won't buy a PS/2; I don't like or trust IBM as a company. I won't buy a Mac, they're way out of my price range and the ones I can barely touch are far too slow. And neither of them multitasks, despite some slippery programs on the part of both IBM and Apple. So I'm an Amiga man to stay. But many people out there aren't like me. They'll pack up and buy a Mac SE or a PS/2 Model 50, so they can have a 'real' computer. I, for one, don't want to be an orphan. So what am I to do? +------///-+------------------| BRETT KESSLER |------------------+-\\\------+ | /// | consp11@bingvaxu.cc.binghamton.edu | \\\ | | \\\/// | consp11@bingvaxa.BITNET | \\\/// | | \XX/ | (PeopleLink) B.KESSLER | \XX/ | +----------+-----------------------------------------------------+----------+
