Also at last night's user group meeting, I met the fellow who wrote Tri-clops Invasion. He is currently working on a small board which will hook up to the mouse port and read input from a telephone. The practical upshot of this is that you can use a cordless phone to help control the Amiga. The board also includes an IR receiver/transmitter pair with which you can control any number of IR-controlled devices. The receiver has a very short range and is used for copying the output from the IR remote. He is hoping to have a product out in about two months with software for about $50. As a side note, he is also working on a 4 mouse muliplexer, which will let you plug four mouse things into a single port.It can be manually set as well a s software controlled. I'll try and put together a list of interested people of anyone who E-mails me. And I'll send out more info when he gets the items done, or releases what work he's gotten done into the public domain. Disclaimer: I am not affiliated with any of the above, and just thought that these devices were really neat. -- <------------------------------------------------------------------------------> < FRANK BRANHAM | "I exist; therefore I am." > < Georgia Institute of Technology | -The Patchwork Quilt > < Internet: gt4662b@prism.gatech.edu | by August Derleth >
