Why do we (the Amiga community) have commands that parse the wild cards themselves instead of writing a capable shell to do all the expansion for the commands? This sure would help in cases like "Which wild card does THIS program like?" and "What wild card does this mean with THIS program?" And all that stuff.... Any hope of doing this in 1.4? Any hope of ever doing it like in Unix at all?
