[comp.sys.amiga] Transactor refunds

fc@lexicon.com (Frank Cunningham) (04/10/90)

If you paid for your ill-fated Transactor subscription by credit card,
you have a reasonable chance of having your money refunded. I did.
I sent a registered letter to 85 West Wilmot Street Unit #10,
Richmond Hill, Ontario L4B 1K7, with no response.
I wrote a letter to Mr. Antony (T-Bag) Jacobson at Crufty Publishing.
The letter was even polite, since it was just after the last mailing.
no response.
I let it slide for a while, and then called the bank. They were most
helpful, even though 90 days had gone by since Crufty had 'cashed'
the mastercharge thingy. A followup letter and two weeks were all that
were required for the full amount to be returned to my account, pending
any complaints by the T-bags. So give it a try.

Why is it that banks can do this so easily ? I mean two weeks is not
enough time to even get the lawyers back from lunch.
That's sort of scary, considering they'd probably do the reverse,
if the spirit moved them.

Why are viola jokes so short ? So violinists can remember them.
