I posted a message before, but I dont think I had the hang of posting on the Net.... But here goes... I have had a 3.5 external drive for about 6 months, bought without a receipt (I know that's dumb, but I only paid 120$ for it) anyways there is no warranty. The problem is that the drive's autosensor seems to have broken, for when I place in a disk, the drive thinks that it is not there.... If I boot up with a disk on the drive, the icon is there, but when I remove a disk, the icon is not removed from W-Bench... I cannot change disks! I have run Autotest on it, and the drive reads and writes fine, but I have the problem above intermittently. Sometimes I just leave the drive on, and it begins to click after about an hour of just sitting there.... OH - there is no clicking normall ... I think that has something to do with it! Any experts out there mail me please or reply, I try to keep up on here! thanks in advance... -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I like to make amigos with other amigas!
