Fellow netters: I have a few questions, some un-related to others, so if you could look at them all, I'd appreciate it. If you have an answer, please reply directly to me, and I'll summarize if I receive enough responses. First Question: Has anybody used ProScript from New Horizons? If you have, please let me know how you like it. I know ProWrite 3.0 is coming out RSN, which will probably lead to an updated ProScript, but I'd like to know how it currently works for you. The printer I will be printing to will be an Apple LaserWrite Plus, if it matters. Second Question: Supposidly ProScript uses the same fonts as Professional Page (the .metric files). Are there fonts disks available that will allow me to use more than the included Times Roman, Symbol, Helvetica, and Courier fonts? I don't want to have to buy Professional Page though.. ;) Third Question: This is for the non-USA readers of this message. Is the Clip Art available in your country specific to your country? I mean, for example, does Santa look like the jolly guy here in the USA, or does he look more like the Santa found in your folklore? The same could go for Christmas articles. My wife is curious, as she like to collect that kind of stuff for her typesetting. If you have an FTP site in your area that has some PD/Shareware Clip Art that fits this, could you pass that on to me as well? She would be interested in seeing it. Fourth Question: Okay, I'm almost to the last one. My wife is going to be writing a thesis, and she needs a good word processing program. I have Word Perfect, but she needs to include graphics in the paper. She will also need to give an electronic version to her department (yup, they use Macs), so being able to print/save in PostScript or EPS will be needed. I plan to do transfers from Amiga-->BridgeBoard-->Mac II, so that part is taken care of. Can anybody suggest a possible solution for me to use? I'm thinking of going ProWrite 3.0 (because it's a good product, I borrowed 2.5 for awhile and was impressed) and maybe using ProScript. Good looking output is important, as well as good graphic printing. Fifth Question: Another solution is of course AMax. Then she can use WordPerfect for the Mac, or whatever she prefers. This of course requires me to have to buy AMax. This is a possibility, but I have one hesitation. It seems that some people have been having problems doing transfers from Mac<->Amiga with their software. If the file is over some magic number (32K I think?) it does not work correctly. Can anyone with AMax confirm that this is not true? I want this to be a useful product after the paper is done, and transfers is important to me. (P.S. on this one - have you tried AMax with a PA and 68881? Does it work? It would be nice to have a Mac with at least a LITTLE power.) Okay, thanks to everyone listen to me. Any help will be appreciated in the answering of these questions. For those who think it might make a difference, I have a 3 Meg 2000 (1 meg Chip) with a PA & 68881. I have a HD, but it is gotten through the BridgeBoard, so I know I won't have a HD with AMax. No big deal, more memory = big RAM disk. ----------------------------------------------------------------- Robert Devantier | 345EEQX@CMUVM.Bitnet | Student Programmer Central Michigan University | {!Amiga!} | Computer Services "It doesn't matter what I think, they'll sue me for what I said."

This is a re-post, as I'm not sure it made it to everyone, and I haven't received any replies as of yet...
