Is anyone aware of a program that can convert Amiga pictures (particularly
HAM mode ones) to some format that a Mac could read and display? Either
an Aimga or Mac program would be fine. I've got a bunch of HAM and other
format IFF pictures on a friends Amiga which I would like to move over
to my Mac now that I'm going to have a 24 bit color display.
Any help would be appreciated, I'm a programmer so I could work together
some "glue" if someone has a program that only takes the process part
way. If there was a program that "de-hams" a picture and turned it into
a 24 bit flat file I could deal with it.
As a last resort, given a good description of the Amiga IFF/Ham format I could
probably write a conversion program...but I'm hoping someone already has!
(Please, no arguing of relative merits of Amiga vs Mac I'm just looking to
convert pictures from one format to another so we can trade graphics, all
pictures look the same no matter what computer we stick them on)
