Not long ago I saw a nationwide list of Amiga User Groups floating around. Could someone please tell me where I can find the latest version of it? Or could you possibly Email it to me? Also if you are an officer of an Amiga user group please contact me via Email. I would like to talk with you about your newsletter and other things that may benifit your group. ____ |_ | erg US Mail: P.O. When I did the Amiga Companion, I included a list of the known user groups, names addresses and so on -- to provide a new user with a place to go for getting answers from more experienced folks. Turns out that the source I used to obtain that list did not include FAUG (blush), which is supposed to be the largest Amiga users' group in existence (as I heard "because nobody there responded in time to make the list" --- sigh). In creating an update for the book, I don't want to leave anyone out. I would like to assemble a reasonably complete list and plan to enlist the aid of CBM if necessary (if possible, if feasible, whatever), but thought that I might find someone on the net who, simliarly to Chet Solace's effort on the FINAL LIST (BBS's for Amiga), may have already assembled a FINAL USER GROUP list, perhaps for use as a mailing list for product announcements??????? It is worth a few bucks to me to get it right this time and I would be willing to discuss compensation for such a list if compiled (and perhaps recently verified). Please contact me via USMail or email if you have such a list, or perhaps individuals who are members of usergroups/clubs that cover the Amiga --- and if you have seen a copy of the Amiga Companion and notice that the name/address/meeting dates of your club etc are not listed in that appendix, please contact me. If I receive a significant number of entries that can be construed as a very-useful-contact-tool, and if that set of entries has not been obtained by copying someone's hard-earned mailing list, I can plan to post the results for public consumption. I am looking for any and all user groups in the Boston Mass, Hartford CT, or southern NH/VT areas. An e-mail address as well as a telephone number of one or better yet two contacts for any given group would be ideal. I am working on an educational Amiga animated short on RECYCLING, and I could use some help and advise. If this sounds interesting to anyone, let me know and I'd be glad to tell you all about it. Thanx. Mike Blechner. EarthRight Institute, White River Junction, VT.
