Hi. I took my 2000HD into the local deal on APril 21st. I was being constantly plagued with guru's of an $3, $4, and $b nature. Plus I got the fearful yellow screen on boot often. I walked into the dealer today to find out what's happening. I was told by an employee that it takes *THREE WEEKS* to get an RMA (returned merchandice authorization??) just to be able to send my Amiga up to Commodore. Then it'll take two more weeks to have the machine get to Pennsylvania and get a new one down. I was told that an RMA means a computer swap is done. $64,000 question. Five weeks to get a 2000HD? I'm still under warranty! What about that Federal Express program for the Amiga 500's that I recall seeing posted here a few weeks ago. I need my Amiga for both school work and for my job. Does it really take this long just to get my machine up to Commodore? After spending $2600 on a system, I hope Commodore gives me better support than my local dealer says the Commodore does! Would someone from customer service either send me some email about this or give me a call at work at area code 904-484-2507 sometime tomorrow (Thursday) between 10am and 5pm? -- John M.
