[comp.sys.amiga] RS1.WRP & RS2.WRP at Xanth

Can anyone tell me what the above mentioned files in incoming/amiga dir at
Xanth are all about??? They are over 1 MB each, and I was wondering how
feasible it is for WARP to make an 880K disk into an 'archived' format
much larger than the original???  Unless WARP uses a compression technique
similar to zoo (which on some files makes things up to 60% larger!) I don't
understand....

So what are these files???

Because the MFM option was used to archive the raw disk data.  This is
sometimes necessary on disks that have bizarre formatting.  If this
wasn't necessary, LHWarp would have been used...
