Hi. Since C= doesn't have the time or the money to hit every educational institution in the US, I suggest that each person do his or her thing to get the Amiga established at their school. Go out, find who is responsible for purchasing (kill her/him for purchasing other systems 8-), and convince them that the Amiga is the system they want. - it has the best price/performance ratio around - it has excellent video capabilities - it will fit well into the existing network - it would make an excellent workstation (unix or otherwise). - any more you can think of... See ya, Ralph PS- Somebody mentioned something about C= making tours of 8 schools. Is this true? What schools? What kind of presentation are they doing? At Univ. of Michigan, we get quite a few presentations of new systems. Most of them tend to be technically oriented. gilgalad@caen.engin.umich.edu gilgalad@dip.eecs.umich.edu gilgalad@goliath.eecs.umich.edu Ralph_Seguin@ub.cc.umich.edu gilgalad@sparky.eecs.umich.edu USER6TUN@UMICHUB.BITNET Ralph Seguin | In order to get infinitely many monkeys to type 11010 Lighthouse Dr. #234 | something that actually makes sense, you need to Belleville, MI 48111 | have infinitely many monkey editors as well.
