LP> Is this a fair assessment of the differences between the LP> 25 MHz 3000 and the 2500/30, assuming both have the ECS and 2.0? LP> LP> con: LP> -less slots LP> -2 vs 3 Meg memory standard LP> -no 68000 (super fast games!) How can you say that the 3000 has less slots compared to the 2000. With the 2000 you need to use a slot for a SCSI controller and memory expansion and the deinterlacer. This translates into actually 6 3000 slots when compared to the 2000 and I believe the the MicroWay Flickerfixer takes up the video slot on the 2000 (I have never seen one). As to the memory, I guess there is no pleasing everyone. If they had put 3 megs in the system someone would say why not 4 megs etc. LP> LP> pro: LP> -de-interlacer LP> -2 Meg Agnus LP> -possible 16 Meg memory on motherboard LP> -32 bit bus LP> -VGA connector LP> -SCSI on motherboard LP> -small footprint On a question about the slots, seeing as the slots are on a daugterboard does this mean that it would be relatively easy for some company to come out with a new board that would have more slots? Or is there no internal room for this?
