[comp.sys.amiga] BEST-SELLING COMPUTER

cs471s07@uhccux.uhcc.hawaii.edu (Cs471s07) (05/07/90)

I am gathering data on the best-selling computer. I am more interested
in some hard figures, guys, no need to debate what's a computer and what's not.
C'mon. We all know what I mean. :-) Comments and speculation ok, but please
give me some sources and data. This is relevant to Macs,PCs, Amigas, Ataris,
(and even mainframes although I'm sure many more Personal computers have been
sold.) As such, please be judicious with your comments and cross-posting. Keep
the signal level high and the noise level low...

To get things going this is an example of the kind of info I need. This
is how the mainframe/mini market stacks up. Does anyone have info like this
regarding PCs??

This is from INFORMATION CENTER Magazine, June 1989 concerning the biggies:

Re-arrange this chart as needed to determine best-selling computer by
number of Systems rather than total purchase.

Nbr of 3090-4XX systems sold only goes to corroborate that this is the
                          "Computer from Hell!"
