[comp.sys.amiga] Jotter program

I am looking for a jotter/notebook type program - something that sits
in the background, and can easily be brought up (hot key or icon)
to allow entry of scraps of information like phone numbers, magazine
article references etc. Basically, it should display a list of item names,
and clicking on one would give the info (unstructured - I am not talking
about a standard cardbase program). It should be possible to give items
atttributes for selecting on ('phone number' , 'article') - again,
attributes need not be predefined (ie the whole thing should be flexible
and unstructured). Is anything of this nature floating around in the
public domain ?  Thanks,

Richard

Yea, it's called the Workbench. Just create a bunch of files with icons.
Put them in drawers. Label the drawers "Phone Numbers" "Articles" etc.
Use a text editor to create the files. Call them whatever you want.

Put a program like "more" (it types out text files to the screen) on the disk.
Use the info menu item in workbench to set all the icons for the text files
to use 'more' when you click on them.

Click on the icons to bring the information up on the screen.
(completely flexible and as un structured as you want it to be).
