If the rumor of Spectrum Holobyte sueing Fred Fish over distributing PD versions of Tetris is true, it sounds to me like they are just being a big bad company who is bullying Fred. We all know that Fred can only pull the disks if he is threatened in this way because he doesn't have the money or time to fight a law suit. I propose that the people who like receiving the Fish Disks put our weight behind Fred and show Spectrum Holobyte that we can bully them a lot better then they can bully Fred Fish... If SH sues Fred Fish (or continues to even threaten him about it). I propose we do an all out boycott of all Spectrum Holobyte products. I'm willing to print signs to hand out at my users group meetings, bug the local Amiga stores to return all SH products, write letters to SH and even help pay for lawyers if it comes to that (granted, I'm not willing to pay very much). If some body with legal experience could comment on the precedents for this kind of thing, I'm sure the net would like to hear it...

One thing is reasonably certain, if strength of numbers means anything: there are certainly a lot more people who appreciate and use Fred's collection than there are buying software from Spectrum Holobyte. -- ================================================================= Lynn D.
