Another possible problem with speakers: The magnetic field can *REALLY* mess up the convergence on your monitor. I bought a pair of small RS speakers to use with my 1080 when I bought my A1000. I didn't thing about the magnets in the speakers and sat them on the top corners on the monitor. * B I G M I S T A K E * Keep the speakers away from the monitor as well as the disks! --- Cal // Cal Jones - Internet: <Jones@UV4.Eglin.AF.Mil> \X/ BBS: 904-243-6219 1200-9600HST 340Meg, all Amiga Single Tasking? *JUST SAY NO!!!*

Radio Shack sells a set of speakers similar to their Minimus 7's that are designed to be used with their TV-stereo-audio-only receiver/amplifier which produce a smaller magnetic field. The system (receiver/speakers) was intended to convert a TV which didn't have stereo capability into one that did. ________________________________________________ <>___, / / | ... and he called out and said, "Gabriel, give | /___/ __ / _ __ ' _ / | this man an understanding of the vision." | /\__/\(_/\/__)\/ (_/_(/_/|_ |_______________________________________Dan_8:16_|
