Here's some interesting information about some of the companies and executives out there: Jack Tramiel, founder of Commodore, is listed in the FORBES 400 as having a NET WORTH of $370,000,000. This is, as is usual in FORBES estimates, a conservative figure. His reputation was hurt in a major financial scandal (something in Canada). Irving Gould, investor, saved him from bankruptcy. In 1984, Tramiel got out of Commodore as a result of a dispute with Gould. He then bought up Atari. John Sculley, CEO of Apple Computer, made $2,251,000 last year, but only owns three tenths of one percent of the company. IBM's CEO John Akers made $1,886,000. He owns less than one one hundreth of one percent of the company. Commodore and Atari were not listed in the article I got this from. (Forbes, May 28, 1990) If anyone knows how much Commodores CEO (O' captain, my Captain...?) makes, let me know. - Roger Rouse "Sometimes you have to take two steps backward in order to take one step forward." -- Unknown (Commodore??)
