First, thanks for everyone who responded telling me to use an alias. I really never thought of that. Second, I think I didn't make it clear enough in my origional posting on the clear command. I was not compalning that they didn't have a clear "program", but that they had no implementation of it! Sure, it's real easy to put one in, but the average new computer user is not going to whip out their ANSI-Control Handbook and write up an alias for it. I mean, it's real easy to make your own icons, but they include those don't they? This is just a simple thing I have been expecting since 1.2 came out. This was not meant to be a flame, I am just in a bad mood and it's raining so I don't feel like walking around for an hour before I post. :-) Ian Smith
