Hi. Has anyone seen a C++ compiler that will run on the amiga ? I've been considering porting g++, but I'd rather not waste my time on it if it's already been done. thanx -- --------------------------------------------------------------------------- stevel@tybalt.caltech.edu CS-> | <-Ph stevel@citiago (Bitnet) \|/ I DO ... 72335,1537 (Compuserve) ?

The Lattice native code C++ compiler, based on v2.x of the C++ language, is supposed to be released in the fall. This comes from the Lattice rep on Bix. If you can port g++ though, by all means do it. ---Rick

I think good old Lattice produce a C++ compiler. Actually it's not a one step compiler - it just turns your C++ into C so you can run it through your C compiler as usual. Not the fastest way, but better than nothing. (I've tried running it on my 1000 with 1.5M and no hard disk - and there's not enough memory to put all the include files into RAM as I do with my C compiler - which means Workbench in one drive, include files in the other, coffee and magazine handy) -David. ____________________________________________________________________________ DJUNG@ECO.UA.OZ.AU (VMS) Real life:David Jung or csdljung@medusa.ua.oz.au (Unix) 3000?
