Is it just me, or didn't they lower the prices of other computers when they
released the 3000 prices? I really don't consider adding a piece of software
I probably don't want and not raising the price of the package to, in effect,
lower the price of the bundle (add software for nothing). After all of the
talk about the lower prices of the other computers when the prices for the 3000
came out, I am very dissapointed. I will still buy my 2000, but I just hoped
for a better deal with the 3000 prices out now.

I will now step off my soapbox.

Ok, with the Commodore's announcement of the Amiga 3000 educational pricing,
I have decided to go for it and get one. My question is if there is some sort
of student financing available. I know that both IBM and Apple offer their
systems to the students through loan options, so I would like to know if
Commodore has something similar available to the students buying their systems.
The low interest student loans are usually much more bearable than what
is available in your local bank.
