New Jersey Institute of Technology is offering a variety of seminars thru
TELENET and UNINET. The catalog describes 21 courses, of interest to
professionals and managers. They will be taught by academics and consultants.
The course titles that caught my eye were:

interactive video disk production	Michael North and Frank Catanzaro
local area networks			John D. McKendree
fundamantals of cybernetics		Dr. Stuart Umpleby

There are also courses of interest to managers ( ethics, arbitration, tech
writing, women in the workplace ), micro hackers ( TRS 80, Apple, CP/M )
and general audience ( computer literacy, computers and society, futurists,
organization psychology ). (Almost forgot the Pascal course ).

The courses aren't cheap - $750 for one or 2fer $1300 plus connect
time charges in the range $6-$9.50 per hour. 1200 and 300 baud
service is offered. Foreign counties, Alaska, Hawaii note special
rates available.
Seminars are at your convenience, starting 10/15.
The program is called EIES, Electronic Information Exchange System.
