Well, now that video disk support is around, (actually, I don't think that it has been missing ever, since the drives are controlled by serial lines right?), there is a whole realm of possibilities that I see. Consider a flight simulator with real imagery (sort of like the video disk game Mach 5). Stick a genlock in your machine, hook up the video disk and away you go. Also, the massive multimedia potential is obvious.
