[comp.sys.amiga] CD ROM machine

On Compuserve there was an announcement by Commodore for
their CD-ROM machine. They say it will list for under $1,000 and
have over 100 titles available for it, all ready for its release
in the fall. This was all Nolan Bushnell's work.

Well, let's give the credit where credit is due. The CD-ROM thing was
practically NONE of Nolan Bushnell's work. Nolan was brought in into
Commodore when all was set and done by Gail Wellington's CD-ROM group.
While I highly applaud Nolan's acquisition, it is really unfair to
credit him with the thing. BTW, did anybody see the 3 min video that
was used at the CES CD-ROM announcement? It was awsome! I was lucky
to be around when they put it all together in LA.
