[net.general] Matrix solution and inversion source and docs posted to net.sources

Several routines for matrix solution have been posted to net.sources.
One solves simultaneous linear equations by Gaussian elimination, the
other by LU decomposition.

After some queries about documentation, I have thrown some together.
In addition, I have also put together a matrix inversion routine that
uses the LU decomposition.
