I heard about the new Commodore XT Bridgeboard A2088T, the one that has 3
speeds (the highest one being 9.54 MHz... faster than the current Turbo-kits!)
and it SUPPORTS ALL AMIGA DRIVES!!! (Finally). Even better... you can use
the drives for AmigaDOS and MS-DOS at the (well almost) same time, like
you can with the CrossDOS and MessyDOS programs! The Amiga will automatically
determine the format of the disk and assign the drive to the corresponding
side. Sounds great, doesn't it?
Now I wonder if anyone among you knows when it will be available, and if
Commodore is gonna offer some kind of 'update-service', giving people with
the 'old' A2088 Bridgeboard the opportunity to upgrade to this new board for
extra low prices???? (The A2088T should have a price of about 800 German Marks, I don't know exactly what that would be in dollars).
I am more than willing to update my board to this new board.
