[comp.sys.amiga] Introduction to the Amiga Books

gsgi_cif@uhura.cc.rochester.edu (Gregory Gibson) (06/08/90)

Well, the subject says it all. I think the Amiga manuals are ok,
but would like to learn more about it. Specifically the CLI,
the Workbench, and how to get around in amiga dos. It would also
be nice to learn about these C routines that are amiga specific.

So please send you votes on the best Amiga Intoductory books and
I'll sumarize for the net...

My vote for general intro to using CLI and such is Rob Peck's "Amiga
Companion".

I also like his "Amiga Programmer's Guide" very much, even though I like
Modula-2.
