Hello! I would be pleased to get opinions and suggestions concerning connecting an Amiga and a Sun together via the serial port. I have a pretty good idea about how this could be done if there were no any further requirements. But as you might guess, there are some :-) An 'ideal' system would be something like this: Amiga(RS232)----Sun(RS232) Sun(RS232)----Modem----Bridge Server----Sun(at the Univ.) I suppose I could use DNet between my Amiga and Sun but how about the rest of the system as I would very much like to be able to launch processes in both of the computers from both of them and besides that, use the modem services (the remote Sun) from both Amiga and Sun. I think I will reach some solution but I'd like to hear if someone has already succeeded well in this and could give valuable advice. Please reply via email.
